Ecological homemade weedkiller

Weedkillers, just like insecticides, are more and more regulated by our governments and municipalities. Being sometimes rather toxic, it is a good thing.

However, weeds, always very resistant, spread everywhere where they are not welcome, and at a speed defying any logic.

Also, very often they grow through our patio alleys, giving them a not too aesthetic look. Being a place generally attended by our children and our pets, we can't spray toxic products there.

A very simple solution exists…

You will probably be surprised to learn that your potato cooking water has weed killers properties! Thus, after having taken the potatoes from you pot, let the water cool and then spray your alleys and places where you want to get rid of weeds.
